I grew up in the Midwest where every pickup truck on the road was either Ford or Chevy. You’d occasionally see one of those tiny little Toyota trucks from the late Eighties or early Nineties, but Toyota was not a contender. After moving to Washington, I started seeing Toyota Tacoma’s everywhere on the Washington peninsula, which is most noted for being logging country. Obviously something is different out here. What’s so special about the Toyota Tacoma, aside from the fact that it seems to offer more internal seating comforts than a comparable Ford or Chevy? MPG-o-Matic provides a great review to show us.
